The Story: My friend Alex got off work early to meet up with me for coffee and chit chat. We spent almost the entire afternoon at Vanilla Brasserie in Siam Paragon talking about nothing, anything and everything in between. After hours of sipping on our watered-down iced choco drinks, we decided it was time for a smoke.
As we approached the side entrance of the mall, I recognized a little man who had an uncanny resemblance to Mini Me. I then turned to Alex and said, "OMG. Is that Mini Me?" -- admittedly saying it half-jokingly. To that Alex replied, "Wha... OMG! It is Mini Me!" and before I knew it, she had already rushed off to where he was. I heard her say "Excuse me, are you Mini Me?" I, on the other hand, didn't know if I should go after her to stop her or run the other direction and pretend like I didn't know her at all. But things happened so fast. The next thing I know I was taking her picture with him and mine taken after her.
After the impromptu photo op, I shook his hand (which was crazy teeny tiny) and thanked him. He then said "It was nice meeting you."
As we were walking away, I remember saying "This is SO cool!" a little louder than I had intended. Sure enough, we looked like the biggest dorks the world has ever known.
